So besides our electricity being out for 8 days and losing a lot of food in our freezers and fridge and the tree in our driveway and on our roof, We blew the engine in our car! Chip and I and the two dogs were driving to get the kids at Chip's parents and our car kept overheating and we had to pull off because it would not run anymore and be towed to a service station. Chip's mom had to come get us an hour and a half away! They did a quick check and decided it was pretty bad. So on we go to look at new cars....which I have wanted a new one for a long time, but not right now. oh and we had to go back and get the car and tow it to the car dealership! They were willing to take the old car as is and we got next to nothing for it...but at least it was something. so now we have a nice big new car!! Ours is the silver one.
