Derby 2010

We went to the Kentucky Derby again this year and had a blast, despite the pouring rain on Derby day! We took Chip's med school friends Kevin and Cara and Sam and Candi. Thursday we started out and went to the Maker's Mark Distillery and dipped our own bottles. We had wonderful dinners out and on Friday went to Oaks where it was sunny and nice and Saturday it was pouring rain. My hat started out stiff and straight and by the end of the day was drooping on both sides. That was ok thought because I found the red carpet and watched the stars come in for about an hour, that was my highlight! Until next year............
